FlutePlay music expresses the range of emotions from
serene and relaxed though amusing and cheerful to passionate and joyous. It draws on the preeminent styles of the last three centuries, weaving through serious art to light frivolity. Yet, at the heart of every piece there remains one constant: the Flute.
Technique and craft Matter
Good quality means better music
Professional classical musicians must spend many years developing the technique necessary to communicate their musical intentions. Nowadays, this discipline also extends to the mastery of digital score preparation, DAWS, Sample libraries & players, DSP and online presentation.
Meet Mr FlutePlay
My name is Peter Lynch and I’m a musician. At the Royal College of Music I was fortunate to study with the best teachers and I also learnt from them that only the best is acceptable.
I used to be at teacher and then later became an examiner, both for the ABRSM and then for Trinity. However, my passion has always been for performance and conmposition.
FlutePlay provides an opportunity to combine both and then to record the results. Many of my performance scores can be found at June Emerson Wind Music and recordings can be heard both on my YouTube and Soundcloud channels.
